Small tomatoes with an astonishing concentration of sweetness.
These Sicilian cherry tomatoes are partially dried, then preserved with basil, oregano, garlic and a touch of hot pepper. Soft and yielding, with a rich tomato flavour and just enough savoury warmth.
Fold them through warm pasta, scatter over salads and focaccia, or serve among cheeses, cured meats and other antipasti. The generous 2kg tray is particularly useful for parties and busy kitchens.
