Olives Et Al was born from a simple idea: that great food begins with great journeys.
Back in 1993, after a year travelling across the Mediterranean on two motorbikes, our founders returned to Dorset with something far more valuable than souvenirs — a notebook full of recipes, flavours, and inspiration gathered along the way. Those early travels, and the food discovered on them, became the foundation of everything we create today.
What started as a small idea rooted in that original journey has grown into a large collection of hand marinaded olives, extra virgin olive oil dressings, spice blends, and raw fermented hot sauces — all still made in the UK in small batches, and a few things we source from trusted friends we found along the way.
More than three decades later, we’re still guided by that original spirit of curiosity, craft, and flavour discovery.
