What Am I?

Straight from the souks of North Africa (via our Dorset HQ), this is our take on the legendary Harissa – a deeply spiced chilli paste that’s as bold as it is beautiful.

Packed with 31% red chilli for proper fire, balanced with garlic, smoked paprika, onion and ginger for warmth, then rounded with coriander, cumin and fennel seeds for that unmistakable earthy depth. A smooth, spoon-able paste that’s ready to transform whatever it touches.

What to do with it?

Pretty much anything:

  • Stir into couscous, tagines or stews for instant North African soul

  • Whisk into yogurt or mayo for a punchy dip or dressing

  • Spread on flatbreads or toss through roasted veg

  • Rub onto lamb, chicken or halloumi before grilling

  • Add a spoonful to pasta sauces, soups or marinades for a smoky, spicy kick

"Plenty of fire and smoke on the nose, with long lasting aromas of fennel and cumin, this is a nice versatile sauce that's also really on-trend now.

"A spoonful of Harissa in your tomato sauce makes for a cracking spicy pizza, or a little Harissa into prawn cocktail sauce makes a delicious Bloody Mary sauce.

"Harissa stirred into yoghurt then basted onto fish like cod or bass then grilled is delicious, as is a lamb leg, ribeye steak, or whole roasted cauliflower brushed with harissa and barbecued.

"Even a teaspoon of Harissa into a dark chocolate brownie mix puts a little kick into the mix."
