Description

Cantina Fiorentino is based in Galatina, in the heart of Salento, and is recognised for producing a range of organic wines that reflect the region’s unique terroir. We’re delighted to be listing this fantastic new addition made from the Fiano grape, which is indigenous to southern Italy, where it really thrives. Fermented in stainless steel tanks to retain its vibrant freshness and purity, this wine offers delicate aromas of white flowers, white-fleshed fruits and hazelnuts intertwined with subtle herbaceous notes and a refined mineral and saline finish.

About the Estate

Cantina Fiorentino is located in the heart of Salento, between the rugged Adriatic coastline and the golden sands of the Ionian Sea, near the west coast of Italy's heel. Incorporating the historic Cantina Valle Dell'Asso, the estate was founded in 2014 in the province of Lecce. Under the leadership of Pierantonio Fiorentino, a visionary entrepreneur in renewable energy and bio-sustainability, the winery is dedicated to protecting its environment and produces a diverse range of certified organic wines. Every aspect of production is guided by cutting-edge sustainability practices, with energy-efficient buildings and systems designed to minimise fossil fuel use while honouring the rich heritage of the land. The winery's dedication to quality and environmental responsibility has positioned it as a notable producer in the Salento region.
