Adana Turkish Kebab Spice Blend 45g

A warm, gently fiery Turkish inspired blend of sweet pepper, sumac, Aleppo chilli, mint and cumin.

Inspired by the grilled kebabs of Adana in southern Turkey, this is a spice blend made with lamb in mind. Stir it generously into minced lamb or beef, shape around skewers and cook over hot coals until smoky at the edges.

It is equally good rubbed over lamb chops, stirred through meatballs or mixed with Extra Virgin Olive Oil and lemon juice for a simple marinade. Aubergines, peppers and courgettes take particularly well to it. Serve with flatbread, chopped herbs and a bowl of cool garlic yoghurt.
